Yetkin Akyüz was born on 25.10.1997 in Istanbul. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tekirdağ. In 2016, he won the Electrical Electronics Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering at Düzce University. Developing himself in the field of embedded software, Yetkin Akyüz did his internship at the Savronik Elektronik company in Eskişehir on embedded system foundations and embedded Linux development. He completed projects for wireless serial communication from vehicle to vehicle using Li-Fi technology, cost-effective rotary coating device, PIC18-based snake game, and STM32-based combination lock system. He is currently a 4th year student at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In his free time, he writes blog posts about computer science, programming and technology.
ARM Based V2V Wireless Serial Communication System with Li-Fi Technology
Vehicle-to-vehicle unidirectional wireless serial communication system prototype based on visible light spectrum, OOK modulation and UART protocol. Used ARM Cortex-M3 based STM32 development boards, and programmed with C language and HAL library.
Cost Effective Spin Coater
In order to deposit uniform thin films onto flat substrates, an opensource and cost-effective device that enjoys Apache-2.0 License. The project is designed as Raspberry Pi Zero based. The main software including GPIO and I2C LCD libraries are written in Python.
PIC18 Based Snake Game
Snake game on 8x8 dot matrix. Used PIC18F46K22 MCU, and programmed with C language with Microchip's XC8 compiler.
